Carol Thibeaut, NHA
Administrator of The Inn at Sarasota Bay Club
Carol has been in the senior care industry for over 20 years in Independent, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing and has held Nursing Home Administrator licenses in Ohio, Texas and Florida. She opened two Assisted Living and Memory Care communities from construction phase while in Ohio and was a trainer/mentor for all new Executive Directors at Sunrise Senior Living for Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Carol served on the Ethics Board for Hospice in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has a Bachelors degree in Finance from The University of Cincinnati. Carol and her daughter moved to Sarasota in 2011, transferring with her employer of 9 years. She is extremely happy to now be part of the family here at The Inn at Sarasota Bay Club!

Background: Moved from Cincinnati, Ohio, in 2011 to Sarasota to enjoy the beautiful weather, beaches and scenery. "I enjoy being outside whenever possible and being able to look outside when i'm not. I have one daughter who joined me here soon after I arrived after seeing what she was missing!"

Graduate: University of Florida School of Medicine. Performed Clinical Research with Dr. Richard Pannush; investigating effects of nutrition, diet and vitamin C on arthritis symptoms and disease progression.
Residency: Completed 3 year Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN.
Certification and Member: Board Certified, American Board of Internal Medicine. Voting and Active Member of Florida Medical Directors Association. Member of Phi Beta Kappa Society voted “Top Ten Doctor” in Sarasota 2006, 2007 and 2008.

Work Experiences: Orthopedic Surgeon at the Adult Reconstruction Cleveland Clinic Hospital, Naples, Florida, and now with the Adult Reconstruction Kennedy White Orthopedic Center, Sarasota, Florida. Matt was born and raised in Independence, Kansas and has more than 10 years of experience in a variety of senior health care settings including skilled nursing, long term care, assisted living, memory care, and behavioral health.
Matt's career in the senior healthcare industry began in a nursing home dietary department during his freshman year of high school and it became his passion. Matt volunteered with Meals On Wheels and worked as a CNA before pursing social services, sales and marketing.
Matt relocated to Bradenton in April 2016 with his spouse, 2 daughters and their dog Jenks, and was attracted to the area by career opportunities, the beach and the weather.
